Hi, I'm Kristy.
I started Cool Cats Bookkeeping because I kept seeing the same thing happen to small business owners I admired. They'd build something they loved, only to feel buried by the parts of running a business that nobody warned them about: late nights with receipts, tax-time panic, a QuickBooks file they didn't quite trust.
That's the part I love. The categorizing, the reconciling, the clean monthly reports that tell you what's actually happening in your business. Behind every great small business is someone keeping the numbers straight, and I'd love to be that someone for you.
I'm based in York, PA, and I work with small businesses across industries who want their books done right without having to think about them. I’ve spent years inside a busy real estate company, which has given me a front-row seat to how a working business actually runs: the deadlines, the deals, the cash flow, the moving pieces that don't always make it into a textbook. I'm also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, which means you get a bookkeeper who knows the software you're paying for, and a QuickBooks file set up to work with your business instead of against it.
When I'm not working, you'll find me reading, gardening, trying out new restaurants, enjoying a Revs ballgame, or spending time with my family and our six cats.
